Q. What type of cleaning do you do?

A. Steam Cleaning or Hot Water Extraction as it is technically known. Our Prochem Everest truckmounted steam cleaning machine heats its own water to temperatures that do actually produce steam. You get faster drying, more efficient chemical performance and proper sanitizing.

Q. Why should I worry it’s only a rental?

A. Maybe but your Property Manager will worry. Tenants who have their carpets cleaned by a true professional experience few if any problems from their Property Manager when they vacate. Put yourself in their shoes-what would you rather see when conducting the ‘exit condition report’?

Q. My kids have allergies.?

A. Regularly cleaning your carpets can potentially reduce the ‘triggers’ that produce allergy attacks. The Prochem pre sprays that we use have been developed to meet the strictest performance, safety, quality and environmental criteria. MSDS sheets can be downloaded by clicking here.

Please note: cleaning your carpets cannot cure your child’s allergies. It should be viewed as part of an overall management plan.

Q. Do you move furniture?

A. We move portable items like chairs, tables, lounge suites, and beds on casters. We don’t move heavy, fragile or any electronic items.
You will need to clear the floor of any small items before we begin.

Q. How long will it take to dry?

A. The main factors that affect drying times include carpet fibre type (synthetic fibres dry quicker than wool), humidity levels (wet days mean slower drying times) and air flow (leaving doors and windows open and turning on ceiling fans greatly reduce drying times).

Q. But I only have 2 small rooms?

A. Minimum charges apply because we have fixed costs regardless of the size of the job e.g. travel time, insurance etc

Q. I am pregnant is it safe?

A. It is safe. We have never had a problem and the MSDS sheets are freely available BUT if you are in any way worried then we would suggest waiting until after you give birth. (Just to be on the safe side!)

Q. Will my carpet shrink?

A. No. Carpets today have synthetic backing.

Q. Will all the stains be removed?

A. No carpet cleaner can guarantee to remove all stains. Stains basically fall into 2 classes-‘soft’ and ‘hard’.
Soft stains such as dirt, milk, sticky residues are generally removed during general cleaning. Hard stains such as red wine, cordial, wine etc will need to be assessed on the day.
Some stains may have ‘set’, which means they could be permanent. So we can’t guarantee to remove every stain.
It’s no different to a shirt or jumper. Washing it 50 times in the washing machine will not remove the stain.

Q. Do you guarantee your work?

A. Of course. If you’re not happy don’t pay us! If we don’t think we can help we won’t start the job. Any problems will be explained before we start. We under promise and over deliver!

Q. Do you offer dry cleaning?

A. No. Results for dry cleaning are often over sold. It really is a maintenance solution being sold as a restoration solution. We meet many customers who have been unhappy with the results of dry cleaning.
